Hinton Transportation acquires trailer supply operation

Hinton Transportation Investments (HTI) on Tuesday announced the acquisition of U.S. Trailer Parts & Supply Inc., a Chicago-based independent distributor of heavy-duty trailer parts.

The purchase will increase HTI's footprint in the greater Chicago and Milwaukee area and complement HTI's existing distribution in the region. HTI completed the acquisition of US Trailer Parts & Supply on June 1, 2023.

Due to their unique position and history in the market, U.S. Trailer Parts & Supply will continue that legacy as a standalone business unit of HTI in the greater Chicago area," says Dan Millar, chief commercial officer with HTI.
