Diablo 4 Hope's Light Stronghold

Some of the toughest hordes of demon pirates are lounging around in the Cursed Bay of Diablo 4, which also happens to be where the Hope's Light Stronghold is waiting to be repaired. This coastal stronghold has plenty of challenges and is one of my favorite themes in the game, so let's get right into how you can clear this area the same way I did. Here's our guide on the Hope's Light Stronghold in Diablo 4, including location, rewards, and how to beat it.

You can find Hope's Light in the northern part of Scosglen, which is all the way to the northwest on the Sanctuary map. This small area sticks out on the coastal border and is nearly impossible to miss if you stick to the northern boundaries of Diablo 4.

When you get to Hope's Light, which is part of the Cursed Bay, you won't be able to use the main bridge or the path hidden to the right. Until more progress is made, you can only take the left-side route next to the broken bridge. From there, you can start your goal of reaching the lighthouse.

Starting from the left side of the stronghold in Diablo 4, you must make your way past the hordes of dead pirates and broken bells. This path will lead to the first major ship that has a winch. Wind up the winch and get ready to survive for at least one minute. All exits will be blocked and the boat will be swarmed in that time. I can tell you that these enemies don't go easy on you and they will lock you down with spectral chains. Make sure to crown control and destroy the chains.

After the first boat is cleared, take the rope to the left and clear out another section of barnacle-ridden pirates. All the way to the southeastern section of Hope's Light, there is a broken piece of a winch that you can place on your back. To the left of the winch part is also a shortcut back to the main entrance.

Bring the winch part back to the second main ship in the northern section of the Hope's Light and repair the winch. This will start another round of survival, and I didn't survive this attack because I didn't crowd control well enough the first time. As long as you survive the initial minute though, the objective is cleared. Now just take the path to the upper-left-hand side of the ship that leads to the lighthouse in Hope's Light.

Movement is your best friend in this fight and the circles of water that Tidewitch Ne’Gana places on the ground need to be avoided. The water will slow you down, spawn enemies, and even erupt after a while. Avoiding the water is the key to winning the battle, but making sure the enemies that crawl out are taken down is nearly as important.

With the adds controlled and the water avoided, you can easily burn Tidewitch Ne’Gana down. Her other major attack is a hammer slam and a sweep that sends water forward. Like the pools, as long as you are moving, this won't be an issue. Keep the dance around the water consistent and the Hope's Light Stronghold will be conquered.

Legendary equipment and 100 Renown are the best rewards you can get in Hope's Light. While the Legendary armor is what I always look for in these dungeons, they aren't guaranteed. There is simply a higher drop rate. However, the 100 Renown is still a guaranteed reward.
